Overturned big rig cleared from I-880

OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) - An overturned truck was blocking lanes of Interstate Highway 980 and Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The overturned truck was first reported on the connection from westbound Highway 980 to southbound Highway 880 at 8:08 a.m., CHP officials said.

Two lanes of the connector and two lanes of 880 were blocked as of about 8:30 a.m. as crews worked to clean up the crash. The roadway was cleared by noon.
