Pair of minor earthquakes rattle Wine Country

A pair of earthquakes shook in the North Bay on Monday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The first was a 3.3 magnitude reported by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at 4:32 p.m., 2.5 miles northeast of Kenwood in Sonoma County.

Another quake with a magnitude of 3.0 came about an hour later at 5:35 p.m. 1.9 miles southwest of American Canyon in Napa County.

Most of the reaction on social media was that the quakes could be felt and some were relieved by the USGS confirmation because they thought they were "crazy" at first.
