Pedestrian fatality closes 2 lanes of westbound Hwy 80 in Richmond

RICHMOND, Calif. (BCN) - A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate Highway 80 in Richmond this evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was first reported around 8 p.m. By 8:10 p.m., officers announced that westbound Highway 80 had been closed at McBryde Avenue.
The left two lanes of the roadway were open by around 8:40 p.m., but drivers are advised to expect delays.
