Petaluma man arrested in stabbing
PETALUMA, Calif. (BCN) - A 25-year-old Petaluma man was arrested in connection with a stabbing reported early Saturday morning, police said.
About 1:50 a.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of B and Fourth streets and found the victim with multiple wounds to his torso, according to police.
Witnesses gave officers a description of the suspect and said there was no apparent reason for the stabbing, police said in a news release.
Officers found a suspect, Brandon Puehse, in the area and arrested him on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Puehse had the weapon with him, police said.
Puehse was being held at Sonoma County Jail on $30,000 bail, police said.
