Petaluma: Mom & son in stroller struck by vehicle, will survive

 PETALUMA (BCN)-- A woman and a child who were struck by a SUV in Petaluma late this morning were taken to a hospital, a Sonoma County emergency dispatcher said.

Police say it was a mother and son and they will both recover. 

The driver stopped and no one was killed. 

The incident happened near Walnut Park around 11:30 a.m., the dispatcher said.

Petaluma police said the collision closed eastbound D Street at Fourth Street
