Photographer to unveil old images of Notorious B.I.G.
NEW YORK (My Fox NY) -- Back in 1994, photographer David McIntyre had the chance to photograph the Notorious B.I.G. just as he was emerging on the scene. McIntyre said he had no idea Biggie, whose real name was Christopher Wallace, would become such as mega star.
After misplacing the negatives from the shoot, McIntyre discovered them during a recent move, uncovering a set of images that reveal a very multifaceted Biggie.
Now to bring these photos from negative to positive, McIntyre is raising money on Kickstarter to cover the costs of printing oversized images of the mega star and sharing them in an exhibition.
McIntyre said he hopes to build a community of backers interested in the unveiling of these pictures.
Biggie died in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in 1997.
