Pokemon Go pub crawl takes San Francisco by storm

The countdown is on Wednesday, to a huge Pokemon Go crawl in San Francisco.

More than 8,400 people posted on the Facebook account, that they planned on going to the event.

It starts at Dolores Park, and then towards the Embarcadero and the piers.

The crawl runs from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday.

There is a huge craze nationwide over the Nintendo app, which allows players to capture "Pokemon" by venturing outdoors.

San Francisco police will be on notice, as safety for Pokemon players has become a concern.

There have been recent cases of Pokemon players who became so focused playing the game, they were not vigilant about their surroundings, and were robbed.
