Police hoping to locate mysterious woman on doorbell video
MONTGOMERY, Texas (AP, KTVU) - Authorities in Texas are trying to locate a mysterious woman, seen with what appears to be broken restraints around her wrists on a resident's surveillance camera.
The unidentified woman is seen in the grainy video ringing a doorbell at about 3:20 a.m. on Friday, in the city of Montgomery, about 50 miles northwest of Houston.
In the footage, a barefoot young woman is seen wearing a T-shirt and what could be broken restraints around her wrists. The woman was gone before the resident got to the door.
The sheriff's office says it has received multiple reports that the woman is a missing person.
In a press release investigators said, "Numerous citizens in the state and outside have sent missing persons flyers suggesting the women in the video is a missing person from their area. Deputies and Detectives are reviewing these flyers for any similarities, but as of now none are believed to be the women in the video."
The sheriff's office added that there are no mission person's reports in the area to match the description of the woman seen in the video.
