Police investigate clown threat at Fairfield schools
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KTVU) - Fairfield police are increasing security at two schools Tuesday after a frightening threat on social media.
According to school officials, the threat was discovered last night.
A Twitter account with a menacing image of a clown Tweeted about the deaths of students and said they would be coming to Fairfield High School and Grange Middle School.
The police deemed the threats not credible, but increased security as a precaution.
