Police investigating body found along I-80 off-ramp in Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KTVU) - The California Highway Patrol, Solano division discovered a deceased person near the Manual Campos off-ramp from westbound I-80 in Fairfield.
The discovery was made after police pinged the phone of a reported missing person around 1:50 p.m., Wednesday.
When police responded to the location of the cellular phone, they discovered a deceased body at that location.
The Manual Campos off-ramp from westbound I-80 remains closed as police gather evidence.
