Police rescue deer stuck in pond

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Sarasota County Deputies responded to Laurel Oak Country Club after reports of two deer in a pond.

Reportedly, one deer was unable to stay afloat and did not survive. 

The other deer was able to keep its head above water.

Deputies called wildlife officials, who were able to rescue the adult male.
