Police respond to report of shooting in Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - Police have responded to a report of a shooting early Tuesday morning in the Mission District of San Francisco.
According to police, two men were shot in the area of Mission Street and 16th Street around 3 a.m.
The two men were taken to the hospital where one later died.
At the scene there were shell casings on the ground, a car with a flat tire and a mangled bicycle.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
Buses in the area have been re-routed and there is crime scene tape up as police investigate.
