Police seeking to identify package thief in Newark

NEWARK, Calif. (BCN) - Police are asking for help to identify a suspect who allegedly stole a package from the front porch of a Newark home on Thursday.

The theft occurred outside a home near Tozier Street and Cabernet Avenue, according to police. A surveillance camera outside the home was able to capture images of the suspect.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity is asked to contact Newark police Officer Karl Fredstrom at (510) 578-4237 and refer to case number 16-04443.
