Possible drowning in pond reported near Santa Rosa
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KTVU) - Santa Rosa firefighters responded to a report of a possible drowning in a pond northeast of the city this morning.
A Sonoma County Fire and Emergency dispatcher said she received a call at 7:33 a.m. about someone screaming for help, then another call about a person who went into the water and didn't come out.
The pond, known as Hidden Lake, is on Mountain Home Ranch Road off Petrified Forest Road near the Sonoma and Napa County line west of Calistoga.
The Mountain Volunteer Fire Department in Calistoga and Sonoma Life Support ambulance service also responded.
