Possible homeless encampment fire seen off US 101 in San Francisco

A fire burned on the edge of northbound U.S. 101 in San Francisco Thursday evening. It is possible that the blaze near the Cesar Chavez Street, Potrero Ave. exit stems from a homeless encampment per California Highway Patrol autocad. 

San Francisco Fire Department said they responded to the fire at 7 p.m. There were no injuries reported, according to Lieutenant Jonathan Baxter. The fire is under investigation 

Fire could be seen partially blocking the far right lane.
