Powerball ticket bought in Union City wins $1.4 million

Ticket bought in Union City matched 5 numbers.
Union City, Calif. (KTVU) -- Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Union City is a millionaire.
The ticket was sold at Perry's Liquor on Alvarado Boulevard.
The ticket won $1.4 million, by matching five numbers, but not the Powerball number.
In fact, no one hit all six numbers in Wednesday's Powerball drawing, which was worth half a billion dollars.
The jackpot rolls over, and is now expected to reach $675 million Saturday, which would make it the largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
The jackpot has grown, because there has not been a winner of the top prize for the past 18 games, going back to November.
Wednesday's numbers were 2, 11, 47, 62, and 63.
Powerball number was 17.
