President Trump signs 2 executive orders during Crosby visit

President Donald Trump signed two executive orders during his visit to the Houston area on Wednesday. Both executive orders are aimed at making it harder to abandon energy projects over environmental concerns.

The first executive order focuses on the Clean Water Act and will direct the EPA to clarify how states follow it. The second executive order will streamline the process for infrastructure projects that cross international borders. It builds on the president's previous decision to issue a new permit for the Keystone XL pipeline.

President Trump also spoke at the International Union of Operating Engineers Training and Education facility in Crosby.
