Presidential candidates respond to incidents in New York, New Jersey
(KTVU) - The presidential candidates had very different responses to the incidents in New York and New Jersey.
On Saturday, 29 people were hurt in an explosion in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan.There was also a pipe bomb explosion in New Jersey prior to a Marine Corps Charity 5K Race. No one was hurt.
Donald Trump responded to the incidents in Colorado Springs, just minutes after the New York explosion happened. Some have criticized him for making comments before officials publicly confirmed the explosion was a bomb.
Hillary Clinton spoke with reporters on her plane after the incidents.
