Quick work made of fire in Clearlake after evacuations

CLEARLAKE, Calif. - Firefighters made quick work of a blaze on Friday just east of Clearlake in Lake County.
Residents were called to evacuate after two fires started Friday afternoon.
The Extension fire was first reported just before 1:15 p.m. in the area of 18th Avenue near the St. Helena Hospital. Cal Fire says 10 acres have burned.
While firefighters were fighting the Extension fire, another fire broke out in the area of Ogulin Rd and Hwy 53.
That fire, called the North Branch fire has burned 40 acres.
