Rain and showers give way to cloudy aternoon on Saturday

Morning rain dampened the field at AT&T Park, causing the start of the game to be delayed about 40 minutes.

The game was scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. between top pitchers, Madison Bumgarner and Clayton Kershaw. But first pitch was pushed back to 1:45 p.m. to get the field in game shape. 

KTVU meteorologist Rosemary Orozco said that morning rain and scattered showers will taper off by the afternoon and evening.

A KTVU Fox 2 news camera rolled as a storm cell dumped rain near Jack London Square.

Parts of the South Bay, such as Mountain View and Livermore received half an inch of rain in the past 24 hours.

About a quarter inch of rain has fallen in the North Bay.

Temperatures will be in the mid 50s and low 60s, with clouds and isolated showers in the afternoon

There is also a chance of rain on Sunday.
