Rain returns, flash flood watch is in effect in the North Bay

A flash flood watch is in effect for some parts of the North Bay.

KTVU meteorologist Rosemary Orozco says 1" to 2” of rain could fall by Monday morning.

A high surf warning is in effect until 4 p.m. on Monday.

A coastal flood warning is in effect from 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon to 7 a.m. on Monday.

Highs will be in the upper 50s and south winds will reach 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Rain may be heavy at times.

Lows will be in the lower 50s and south winds will reach 10 to 20 mph.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning, followed by a chance of rain in the afternoon.

Highs will be in the upper 50s and light winds will become south winds reaching around 5 mph in the afternoon.
