Redwood City police seek help in locating ‘at-risk' person

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KTVU) - UPDATE: The Redwood City Police Department has located the missing man and he has been returned to his home.
Redwood City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing "at risk" person who walked from his care facility home today.
Police say Douglas Towne, age 75, suffers from severe dementia, according to his case worker, and is unable to care for himself.
He is a white male, 5’9”, 132 lbs., with white hair, and blue eyes.
Towne was last seen at the 1300 block of Valota Rd. in Redwood City on Thursday at 5 p.m. He was wearing a long-sleeve blue shirt, dark pants, and black New Balance shoes.
Police say it’s possible he may have headed towards Menlo Park. Towne is from Atherton.
