The San Francisco Zoo received three new additions for guests to see.

Belle, Holly, and Peppermint can be found at the Playfield Lawn just in time for the holidays.

The zoo says guests can learn more about what the reindeer eat, and other fun facts at the accompanying exhibit.

Reindeer are domesticated caribou and they have had a 40% decline in population over the last 20-30 years, according to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

The San Francisco Zoo is open every day of  the year.
