Retired Santa Rosa officer finds badge in rubble of demolished home

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KTVU) - A retired Santa Rosa Police Department officer didn't think any of his family's belongings survived the fire after they narrowly escaped their Larkfield home early Monday morning. 

But when Officer Sam Poueu returned to the ash, his best friend, a fellow Santa Rosa officer, found his badge in the rubble.
