RICHMOND, Calif. (KTVU and wires) -- A man fatally shot in Richmond on Sunday afternoon has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 20-year-old Keven Hall of Richmond.
The shooting was reported around 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the area of 15th Street and Bissell Avenue. While officers were en route, they were advised that three victims were transported to trauma centers, Richmond police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said.
One of the victims, later identified as Hall, died at the hospital shortly before 6 p.m. The other two victims remain in the hospital, Abetkov said.
Police initially arrested someone in connection with the shooting, but that person has since been released because "it doesn't appear they had anything to do with it," Abetkov said.
She said an initial police investigation determined the shooting was prompted by an argument between several people.
No other information about the case was immediately available Monday, Abetkov said.
