Richmond police investigate deadly shooting

RICHMOND, Calif. (KTVU) - Richmond police continued the investigation into a shooting that left one person dead Tuesday night. 

Officers responded to a shotspotter activation around 11 p.m. near 18th Street and Chanslor Avenue. 

When they arrived at the scene they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and later died.
