YOSEMITE, Calif. (KTVU) - A rock fall has caused the closure of Highway 140 leading into Yosemite National Park, the National Park Service (NPS) announced on Monday.
El Portal Road is blocked by several massive boulders and is closed to traffic through the night. NPS said they would return to the location Tuesday morning to assess the situation.
The closure is in place from the park line to the Cascades picnic area.
