Rousey keeps her promise to marine
BEAUFORT, South Carolina (KTVU) -- Mixed martial arts fighter, Ronda Rousey, still kept her word, despite her shocking upset loss last month.
She attended the Marine Corps ball in South Carolina Friday night, with Lance Corporal Jarrod Haschert.
In August, he had asked her to be his date on a video that then went viral.
She said yes, but only if it did not conflict with fight with Holly Holm.
When the bout moved up to November14, Rousey then fulfilled her promise. She had stayed out of the public limelight since her loss to Holm.
Celebrity website TMZ caught Rousey at LAX, as she headed to the ball.
"Honestly, I probably would stay on my couch crying and eating ice cream for another month if he didn't ask me," Rousey said.
