Salinas mother, 3-week-old baby reported missing

SALINAS, Calif. (KTVU) - Salinas police are asking the public's help in their search for a teenage mother and her newborn baby.
The pair was last seen on May 5 and reported missing two days later.
Investigators said 16-year-old Katelin Flores Castillo left her home without saying where she was going, and no one has heard from her since. They said she left her cell phone behind.
The young mother is described as 5'1" tall, weighing 200 lbs., with blue eyes and brown shoulder length hair.
Her infant is three weeks old and has dark hair.
"We would like to hear from Katelin and check on her and her baby’s welfare," police said on Monday.
