Salvation Army holiday meal deliveries

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) -- Volunteers at the San Francisco Salvation Army are making sure people who cannot leave their homes on Christmas, can still enjoy a warm holiday meal.

They started cooking and packing up meals early in the morning for seniors and people who are homebound due to disabilities or illnesses.

The Salvation Army says for many seniors who live alone, a visit by a volunteer is the only contact they'll have on Christmas.
