San Francisco Fleet Week: Event List for 2016

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) -- Fleet Week is a chance for Bay Area residents to learn about the U.S Armed Forces and those who serve in the military.

Here's a list of things going on to mark this year's celebration:

Tuesday, Oct. 4

Veteran’s Art Exhibit: The Cannery, 2801 Leavenworth Street (9 am – 6 pm)
USN band will be scheduled to perform at The Cannery for Wednesday 10/5 at 2 PM.
U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet Band: Sausalito, Gabrielson Park (11 am – 11:30 am)
US Navy Pacific Fleet Band Brass Quintet: on the PIER 39 Entrance Plaza Stage (1 pm – 2 pm)
U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet Band: 1850 Union Street (3 pm – 3:30 pm)

Thursday, Oct. 6

Softball Tournament Finals. U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet Band: Moscone Field (8 am – 12 pm)
