San Jose father arrested on suspicion of killing 1-month-old son
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - A San Jose man was arrested Tuesday, suspected of killing his 1-month-old son in September.
Kevin Khovananth, 42, is in the Santa Clara County jail, accused of suspicion of murder, child abuse causing death, and child endangerment.
On Sept. 16, authorities were called about a baby boy who was not breathing at a home in the 6400 vlock of Berwickshire Way, but, after being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead. The Mercury News identified the baby as Owen.
The Santa Clara County coroner now says the baby died of blunt force trauma.
Efforts to determine if Khovanath has an attorney were not immediately successful.
