San Jose Police searh for missing at-risk man

UPDATE: 7:37a.m. San Jose Police say that Mr. Epps was safely located this morning and that the silver alert has been deactivated.

San Jose Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing and at-risk 73-year-old man.

A silver alert was issued Thursday morning for Lorenzo J. Epps after he disappeared from a home in San Jose Wednesday morning.

Epps is described as an African-American man, with black hair, black eyes, standing about 6’ 1” tall and weighing about 220 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark green windbreaker, grey sweater, blue jeans, and black dress shoes.

He was driving a pearl white 2000 Lexus Rxr300 with a California license plate, “4NIL261” on the front and paper plates with “DGDG” on the back.

Officials say Epps suffers from some medical condition which can cause him to become disoriented.
