Santa Clara elementary school shelter-in-place lifted
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - A shelter in place at a Santa Clara elementary school in was lifted Thursday morning after police made contact with a suicidal person and determined there was no threat to the students.
A police spokesperson said the suicidal person was in Maywood Park, but that person went willingly with police to get a psychiatric evaluation.
The shelter in place at Eisenhower Elementary School was lifted about 8:30 a.m.
