The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office is still searching for a 4-year-old who's been missing for nearly a month.

Authorities say Ariana Bemis-Eib of Orick, was reported missing by her father on May 15 at about 8:30 p.m. after she failed to return from a scheduled visitation with her mother.

Her father told deputies that on May 14, at around 8 p.m. Bemis-Eib went on an overnight custody visitation with her mother, 37-year-old Delisse Lalee Jones.

Jones did not drop the child off at daycare the next morning, which was part of the visitation agreement.

Deputies located Jones' vehicle near her last known address in Eureka.

Authorities have tried to reach Jones but have been unsuccessful.

The woman does not have legal custody of the girl and is in violation of a custody order.

The case is being investigated as a child custody concealment case.

Bemis-Eib is described as a white female child, approximately 3 feet 6 inches tall, 50 pounds, with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.

Jones is described as a white female adult, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, 215 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Jones is believed to be associated with a 1997 Green Chevy pick up truck, with a California license plate of 7Z43180.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff's office at (707) 445-7251.
