MILLBRAE, Calif. (KTVU and wires) -- A suspect took photos of a student using a restroom at a Millbrae middle school on Friday, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to Taylor Middle School, and when they arrived, they talked to school staff and the alleged 12-year-old victim, according to authorities.

Deputies learned that the incident happened just before 2 p.m., sheriff's officials said.

The boy told deputies that the suspect reached under the dividing wall, and took photos of the child as he was standing at a urinal, according to sheriff's officials.

The suspect then ran out of the restroom, deputies were told.

The boy told investigators he did not recognize the suspect, who may not have been a student at the school, sheriff's officials said.

The alleged victim described the suspect as a white boy, between 14 and 16-years-old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a heavy build, according to authorities.

The suspect wore a brown, short-sleeve shirt, with a white long-sleeve shirt underneath, sheriff's officials said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective John Carroll of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, at (650) 259-2313.
