Search intensifying for missing father and baby

ANTIOCH, Calif. - The search is intensifying for a father and his little girl who have been missing for nearly a week. 

23-year-old Kyler and 1-year-old Kaylee Jackson were last seen visiting family in Antioch on Sunday night.

They left the home on Folsom drive around 11 pm, but never made it to their destination in Sacramento.

Sacramento Police are assisting Antioch Police in the investigation.

City license plate readers have not gotten a hit on the silver 2002 Ford Taurus and authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for the car.

Family members say it is out of character for Kyler not to contact them and say he always keeps his cell phone nearby.

The California Highway Patrol is expected to fly an airplane to help with the search.
