'Serial stowaway' appearing in court for new airport trespassing charge

A woman known as the serial stowaway is scheduled to appear in a Chicago bond court on Thursday.

Marilyn Hartman, 64, was arrested Wednesday at a Chicago O'Hare Airport bus shuttle center.

Police say they were alerted by an electronic monitoring bracelet, that she has been forced to wear, as part of her probation.

Hartman had been ordered to stay away from Chicago's airports, after repeatedly trying to sneak past security at both O'Hare and Midway.

In the past, she has been caught trying to illegally board planes across the country, including at San Francisco

International and Mineta San Jose Airports.

Hartman successfully slipped by security in August 2014, on a flight from San Jose to Los Angeles.
