Series of BART problems reported across system

BART reported three separate problems on Thursday morning, creating an early morning headache for commuters. Within about 90 minutes, the problems had been cleared, though leaving residual delays.

As of 5:30 a.m., BART responded to these problems.
-- Cracked rail between Bay Fair and South Hayward station, single tracking
--Train possibly hits debris in underground tracks between 16th and Civic Center in San Francisco.
--Reports of 'false occupancies' in downtown Oakland, slowing trains. False occupancies means when a computer makes it seem like a train is there, when it's really not.

By 5:42 a.m. BART had resolved two of the issues. Only the cracked rail issue remained, causing at least 20-minute delays as rains were single tracking.

By 6:20 a.m., the Bay Fair to Hayward problem had been fixed.
