SF police investigate suspicious package near U.S. Customs and Border Protection building

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Police Department is investigating a suspicious package found Tuesday afternoon near the U.S. Customs and Border Protection building. 

The package was found in the 500 block of Battery Street, according to police. 

The U.S. Customs office is located at 555 Battery Street.

Drivers in the area should expect delays.
