SFPD search for suspect in early morning shooting
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco police are searching for a suspect who shot and wounded a man early Friday morning.
The victim was found outside a popular donut shop.
People in the neighborhood woke up to the sound of gunfire.
San Francisco Police responded to Bob's Donuts on the 1600 block of Polk Street. just after 4:30 a.m.
Officers found a man who'd been shot and injured.
The victim was rushed to the hospital.
Police gathered evidence in and around the donut shop while at the same time there was a second crime scene a couple blocks away on California Street near Polk.
It's unclear what the motive was for this shooting.
The person who opened fire remains on the loose.
