SFPD targets fugitives, make 66 arrests in one day, mostly in Tenderloin

San Francisco Police Department in a major operation targeting fugitives, made 66 arrests Wednesday; mostly in the Tenderloin. 

The suspects were wanted for robbery, vandalism, burglary, assault and parole violations. 

Several suspected drug dealers were also booked into custody. 

Officers from SFPD's Tenderloin Station led the operation, working with deputies from the SF Sheriff's Department and state parole agents. 

SFPD said no one was hurt during this operation, which began at 8:30 a.m. Police said no officers used any force in these arrests.
