SJSU investigating sexual assault; seeking witness

San Jose State University police are asking for the public's help in identifying a possible witness to a sexual assault.

The victim reported that an unknown man walked into her room at Washburn Residence Hall located on the SJSU campus and sexually assaulted her.

The incident happened on March 15, 2016 at around 9:30 am.

The witness is described as a white male, over six feet tall. 200 pounds, wearing a grey v-neck t-shirt.
