South San Francisco house engulfed in flames
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KTVU) - A fire broke out at a South San Francisco home on Saturday morning.
All four residents made it out of the house and only one person had a minor injury.
Firefighters responded to the house fire around 4:30 after a 911 call and one of the residents of the home drove to the fire station and was banging on the door to get help.
The home is just 100 yards from the station.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire, but say that the classic cars in the garage caught fire, making fighting the fire more difficult.
Firefighters are reminding people to check their smoke detectors and to be aware of lights and decorations catching fire during the holidays.
