Halloween has a significant positive impact on the economy, as it drives a large amount of consumer spending on items like costumes, candy, and decorations, making it a major retail event similar to Christmas, boosting sales for businesses across various sectors. As the Halloween season creeps closer, Spirit Halloween is seeking thousands of employees for its stores this year.

According to the nation’s largest Halloween retailer, the company is seeking seasonal sales associates and store managers to join the retail team.

By the numbers:

Spirit Halloween said that 50,000 positions will be available to support more than 1,500 retail locations expected to open in 2025.

Perks for the position include "competitive salaries, flexible scheduling, a premium pay incentive program, and seasonal retention bonuses for returning store managers." All associates also receive a 30% discount on Spirit Halloween purchases.
