Storm tapers off, returns Sunday
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Friday's rain has tapered off to scattered showers for the rest of today.
KTVU's Rosemary Orozco says the afternoon drive should be much dryer than the morning commute.
As of 12:30 p.m. the 24 hour rainfall for the storm included totals of 1.10" in Napa, .85" in Concord, .78" in San Francisco and .91” in San Jose.
Rosemary says this system is not a snow producer in the Sierras.
We are getting a break from rain Saturday. Then a colder system arrives Sunday. The system Sunday could producer snow in the Sierras with a Winter Weather Advisory.
It looks like we should stay drier on Halloween with a slight chance of scattered showers in the evening for the North Bay, before rain returns again Tuesday.
