Surveillance video shows suspects stealing ATM in Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KTVU) - Police say surveillance video shows three suspects stealing an ATM from a gas station on Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek on Friday morning.

The video shows one suspect in a red hat distract the lone clerk around 5 a.m.

A second suspect, wearing a black hoodie, then attaches a cable to the ATM.

That's when the driver in the Ford pick-up hit the gas to rip the ATM from its mount.

The suspects then put it in the back of the truck and take off.

Police want anyone who recognizes the truck, or the suspects to give them a call.
