Suspect in Union City standoff surrenders to police
UNION CITY, Calif. (KTVU) - A suspect in a Union City standoff surrendered to police Tuesday afternoon.
Union City Police had issued a shelter in place at Railroad Avenue and 10th Street between I and J streets in Union City.
Police had said a hostage in the standoff was taken to the hospital, while the suspect remained in the home.
They believed the suspect was armed.
At this point, additional details have not been released.
