Suspect sought in Novato bank robbery

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery on Friday afternoon in Novato.
NOVATO, Calif. (BCN) - Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery on Friday afternoon.
The bank holdup was reported at 4:45 p.m., when the suspect walked into the US Bank at 1711 Grant Ave. and passed a note to a teller demanding money, police said in a news release.
No weapon was seen or mentioned. The suspect fled on foot toward the Novato Library and was last see driving a blue Chevrolet sedan, southbound on Tamalpais Avenue, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
Police released surveillance images of the suspect. He is described as a white man, 18 to 22 years old, thin to average build and 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a teal baseball hat,
blue and white-striped zip-up sweatshirt and had a black backpack.
