Suspected home intruder shot, killed in Antioch
ANTIOCH, Calif. (KTVU) - A man was shot and killed while apparently breaking into a home in Antioch Tuesday night, according to police.
Antioch police received a call of the man breaking into the home on Winding Lane at 11:55 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old Antioch man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man died at the scene despite efforts to provide first aid, police said.
The home's residents knew the intruder, whose name was not released, according to police.
